Marinite A® is a heat treated, inorganic calcium silicate board made of fibers, micro silica and binders.

[Bullet] Hardest of all Marinite® products
[Bullet] Significantly reduced shrinkage
[Bullet] More resistance to physical abuse
[Bullet] Can be machined into shapes for specific applications
[Bullet] Uniform temperature control
[Bullet] Minimal maintenance

Marinite A®  is the hardest of all Marinite® materials; it offers greater toughness for more resistance to physical abuse. Marinite® A also has significantly reduced shrinkage, so it is an extremely low shrinkage board at molten aluminum temperatures. Marinite® A can be machined into shapes for specific applications.

Marinite A® was designed for use in non-ferrous foundry and glass industries for conveying, containing, handling and forming glass, molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. it is widely used for transition plates, hot top rings, spouts, floats, stoppers, dams, baffles and basins.
