A rigid, high temperature board made from a blend of bulk ceramic fibers and polycrystalline high alumina fiber

[Bullet] Low thermal conductivity
[Bullet] High temperature stability
[Bullet] Density uniformity
[Bullet] Chemical resistant
[Bullet] Excellent resistance to thermal shock

It is an ideal material for use where extremely low shrinkage at elevated temperatures is desired. It is easily machined. It is used as furnace linings, refractory backup, high temperature baffles and muffles, flue and chimney linings in furnaces and kilns, and combustion chamber construction.
