Vulcanized Fibre is a chemically pure laminated cellulose material containing no resins or bonding agents (vulcanized fiber).

(Commercial Grade)

A chemically pure laminated cellulose material containing no resins or bonding agents (vulcanized fiber).

1/16 to 1 in. thick sheets 45 x 74 and/or cut and fabricated per drawing. Tubes also available.

Gray

Gray vulcanized fibre is strong, tough, resistant to oils, gasoline, and most solvents. It is an electrical grade insulating material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 115° C. It is used in many mechanical and/or electrical applications such as washers, arc barriers, insulating plates, and switch and appliance insulation.

(Bone Grade)

Vulcanized fibre, bone grade is the hardest and most dense grade available. It offers very high resistance to wear and abrasion. It possesses great mechanical strength. It is also resistant to oils, gasoline, and most solvents. It is an electrical grade insulating material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 115° C. It is used in many mechanical and/or electrical applications such as noiseless gears, cams, cutting blocks, and thrust washers.
