NEMA G9 is similar to G5 but it can be used in high humidity applications. It has high mechanical strength and excellent electrical properties, including high arc and heat resistance. It is also self extinguishing. It is used in the electrical industry in switch board panels, arc barriers, circuit breakers, and as structural electrical parts both under regular and high humidity situations.

An electrical/mechanical grade of glass cloth laminate impregnated and cured with melamine resin.

Sheet sizes 36 x 72, 36 x 48, 48 x 48, 48 x 96, and 48 x 108 in thicknesses .031 in. to 4 in.; cut and fabricated per drawing .
